Saxophonist Jakob Dinesen has always been highly in demand on the danish jazz-scene. He plays fluently both in straight ahead and modern jazz-surroundings and has a deep passion for world-music. Has recorded and played with Paul Motian , Kurt Rosenwinkel, Nasheet Waits, Ben Street ,Eddie Gomez Steve Swallow,Tony Allen, Scandinavia`s biggest pop-Artists, and world-class African and Cuban Artists.

Won best danish Jazz-album 2003 and 2007 and critics award for best Jazzalbum 2015
