The Moms
Copenhagen-based free improv/noise trio
THE MOMS is the trio of Catalan reedist Albert Cirera and Danish guitarist Taus Bregnhøj-Olesen and double bassist Asger Thomsen. Manipulating conventional instruments in self-invented unorthodox ways the trio creates an ever-changing music that grabs you and invites you in.
The trio met in Copenhagen and the very first sounds they ever played together are documented on their debut album 'Kalipedia' - a challenging near-40 minute harsh chunk of music - which met positive reviews from international media.
