Nordic Jazz Musicians' Relay
The musicians' relay is the musicians' opportunity to exchange experiences and share knowledge, as well as to meet across the board and talk about the everyday life of being a professional musician

The musicians' relay has gotten a Nordic version: The Nordic Jazz Musicians Relay, which is a new initiative for sharing knowledge and expanding networks among jazz musicians across the Nordic countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
The Danish Jazz Musicians' Relay started in the spring of 2022 and so far two online meetings have been held with representatives from each of the above countries. Based on the Musikerstafetten in Denmark and the idea of creating a confidential space between musicians, the aim here is also to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the respective jazz environments in the countries as well as to spar with each other about projects and develop networks across national borders but with jazz as a common starting point.
The Danish Jazz Musicians' Relay was started by JazzDanmark in collaboration with the Danish-Norwegian jazz musician Birgitte Soojin. The Nordic Jazz Musicians' Relay has been created in collaboration with the Norwegian Jazz Forum, Swedish Jazz, Jazz Finland, FÍH Iceland Jazz, Havnar Jazzfelag and JazzDanmark and is supported by Nordic Culture Point.
